What are the limitations of the trial use mode?

The installation kit for the trial use and fully licensed versions of the game are identical.  When playing the game the first time, you will be prompted for a registration code.  If you do not have a registration code, you can enter 'trial' mode.

Trial mode supports all features of the game, with the following limitations:

  • While the dictionary can be modified during the game, it is not possible to save the updated dictionary.
  • Only two games can be played under trial mode - using two pre-selected letter combinations.  After playing these two games, the game program will exit.  You can play the trial mode again - with the same two games.

My Registration Code isn't working, how do I unlock the full version of the game?

The Registration Code is generated from the Owner Name provided when you purchased the software.  The Owner Name is the value of the "Name" field in the "Owner Information" settings on your Windows Mobile device.  If you are using an Owner Name different from what you provided when you purchased the software, contact TildeTech for assistance - support@tildetech.com.

On Windows PCs, the software requires that a Windows Mobile device be connected (using ActiveSync or Vista's Windows Mobile Device Center) when trying to unlock the full version of the games on your PC.  Your Registration Code will not unlock a stand-alone copy of the games.

How can I upgrade from trial mode to a fully licensed game?

The installation kits for the demo (trial) and fully licensed versions are identical.  Once the game is installed, all that is required to activate the full version of the game is to enter a valid registration code.  This registration code can be purchased at any of the on-line stores selling TildeTech's games.

I purchased an older version of a game, how do I upgrade to a newer version?

Customers who have purchased TildeTech software with a version number of 4.0 or later can upgrade to the latest version of the same product for no charge.  Download the latest software kit, and do a new install.

Customers who have pruchased TildeTech software with versions older than 4.0 have two options:

  1. They can download and install the unsupported Version 3.6 kit from the Downloads page, or
  2. They can purchase a Word Games Suite Upgrade to use the latest version of the TildeTech products.

I purchased a newer version of a game, how do I run an older version?

Customers purchasing newer versions (4.0 or later) will require a different Registration Code to unlock the older versions of these games (version 3.6).  Contact TildeTech for valid Registration Codes.

I purchased a Windows Mobile device version, how do I register the bonus PC version?

All versions of TildeTech Windows Mobile games include a bonus PC version of the game, which is licensed for one PC.  This PC must be the synchronization host for the Windows Mobile device.  The PC version registration process requires that ActiveSync (or Vista's Windows Mobile Device Center) be installed on that PC and that the Windows Mobile device has an active connection to the PC during registration.

During registration, the game will query the WM device to verify it is properly registered and then prompt for the associated registration code.

A PC-only version of the TildeTech products is not currently available.

I installed the software, but don't see all of the word lists or the word definitions?

The software kits only contain the Standard7 word list dictionary.  Install the Dictionaries kit from the downloads page or from one of the online stores.  To use the word definitions, select the 'word definitions' option during installation.  If this option is not selected, the Free Dictionary tool will not function.
